Every year the Sheraton in Seattle host's the Gingerbread Village to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Northwest Chapter.
Since 2011 Eric Drivdahl has teamed up with the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties to build one of these gigantic gingerbread houses.
Each year there is a different theme and the teams compete for votes. The event is open to the public at the Sheraton in downtown Seattle from before Thanksgiving through the next year. It has become a holiday tradition to take your family to see all the amazing gingerbread creations.
